The 2025 Fall Sports season has drawn to a close, leaving behind a trail of remarkable achievements and unforgettable moments. The Varsity Cross Country teams led the way with both the boys and girls earning first-place individual finishes at the CISAC Invitational, and the boys securing a historic HVAL Runner-Up title as both squads delivered strong performances throughout the season. On the pitch, our Girls Varsity Soccer team showcased resilience and determination, advancing to the HVAL League semifinals and battling through a scoreless regular time and double overtime before ultimately falling in the second round of overtime penalty kicks. The Boys Varsity Soccer team celebrated its best season in seven years, lighting up the scoreboard with 43 goals and demonstrating exceptional growth and teamwork. Across the JV and Middle School levels, our athletes continued to show dedication, improvement, and school spirit in every game, making this fall season one to remember.

Varsity Cross Country

The Varsity Cross Country team put together an exceptional season highlighted by top finishes, individual breakthroughs, and strong team chemistry. Led by standout runners Jadiel Thomas ’26 and Lena Cosentino ’29, the Blues posted impressive results from the opening fun run through the season-ending championship meets.
The boys’ team consistently placed among the top programs in the league, earning the HVAL Invitational team victory, the CISAC boys’ individual and third-place team finish, and ultimately finishing HVAL Runner-Up with four All-HVAL athletes: Thomas, Rodgers ’26, Walsh ’30, and LaFrance ’26. On the girls’ side, Cosentino earned multiple top-five finishes and was named All-HVAL, with strong support from Julia Wang ’29, Sabine Balentine ’27, and Leah Llanos-Reyes ’27.
The season concluded with Williams sending four runners to the NEPSSA Championships in Maine, where Thomas earned All-New England honors with a 13th-place finish on a demanding championship course. It was a season defined by dedication, competitive excellence, and remarkable individual and team achievements.

Girls Varsity Soccer

The Girls Varsity Soccer team delivered a season defined by grit, growth, and exceptional teamwork. Opening with strong early wins—including a commanding 7–1 victory over Westover—the team quickly established itself as a powerful HVAL contender. Led by Senior Captains Ally Iacobellis ’26, Claire Butler ’26, and Zara Asim ’26, the Blues showcased dynamic attacking play, disciplined defensive structure, and impressive depth across all grades.
Throughout the season, the team earned decisive wins against Rocky Hill, Eagle Hill, Wooster, and Westover, while also battling through competitive ties with Harvey, Forman, and Christian Heritage. Multiple players stepped into new roles, younger athletes made immediate impact, and standout goalkeeping from Gabby Ivy ’28 kept the Blues competitive in every match.
The regular season closed with a strong 3–0 win over Westover, securing momentum heading into the HVAL playoffs. The Blues defeated Wooster in the quarterfinal before falling in a dramatic double-overtime penalty shootout in the semifinals against top-seeded Harvey. Seniors Asim and Butler earned All-WWNEPSSA honors, capping a season filled with resilience, heart, and high-quality soccer.

Boys Varsity Soccer

The Boys Varsity Soccer team demonstrated impressive growth and perseverance throughout a competitive season. The Blues opened with strong performances at the Bancroft Play Day Tournament and continued to build momentum with early wins over the American School for the Deaf, Rocky Hill, and Watkinson. Key offensive contributors included Henry Champagne ’26, Liam Kelly ’27, and Arden Gorra ’27, while strong defensive efforts came from Sean Dockery ’26, Jay Robinson ’28, and Auggie Knott ’26.
The team showcased its resilience in close matches against Christian Heritage, Eagle Hill, and Forman, highlighted by multi-goal games from Champagne and key assists from Kelly and Erick Lopez Baigts ’27. The Blues secured an exciting Senior Night win over Watkinson and followed with a hard-fought 2–1 victory against Forman.
Entering the HVAL playoffs as the No. 4 seed, Williams battled intensely in the quarterfinal but ultimately fell 1–2 to Forman despite strong possession and numerous scoring opportunities. The season was marked by continuous improvement, competitive spirit, and standout leadership across the roster.

The JV/MS Cross Country team showed tremendous progress across the season, with every runner demonstrating growth, effort, and commitment. Led by strong performances from Hutch Walsh ’30, Finn Pesarik ’30, and Elliott Boyle ’30 on the boys’ side, and by Madeline Muench ’31, Amelia Thomas ’32, and Alex Lindner ’30 on the girls’ side, the team delivered competitive results at every meet.
Runners consistently improved their paces, gained confidence on challenging courses, and developed excellent race strategies. The season ended at the Pine Point Invitational, where all athletes finished strong and showcased the large strides they had made since the opening meet. It was a season marked by dedication, camaraderie, and impressive personal growth.

The JV/MS Girls Soccer team demonstrated enthusiasm, improvement, and determination throughout a fun and positive season. With multiple players learning new positions and gaining confidence each week, the team built strong fundamentals, excellent communication, and a supportive team culture.
Highlights included standout wing play from Lauren Naysnerski ’30, energetic midfield work from Alexa Gjonaj ’31, strong defensive performances from Emilia Bloxsom ’31, and excellent goalkeeping contributions from Annie Ellis ’30 and Aeryn Smith ’30. The team also enjoyed a spirited Sports Day performance where great teamwork, consistent pressure, and resilient play defined the match.
No matter the score, the Blues showed exceptional sportsmanship, unity, and growth—making this season a true success.

The JV/MS Boys Soccer team enjoyed a strong and steadily improving season filled with exciting wins and strong player development. The Blues opened with a 4–0 victory over Rectory, powered by a combined shutout in goal and scoring contributions from Nick Cosentino ’30 and Kai Hurst-Ruales ’29. Throughout the season, the team continued to grow, earning hard-fought results against Country School, Rush/Salem, and Rocky Hill.
Strong goalkeeping from Elijah Waring ’30 and defensive leadership from Eli Fetzer ’30, Lukas Haynes ’30, and Will Dockery ’29 anchored the team. The offense was fueled by consistent scoring from Cosentino, Hurst-Ruales, Felix Knott ’32, and Will Corkhill ’29. The team saved one of its best performances for Sports Day, defeating Pine Point 6–1 with exceptional wide play and confident finishing.
The season concluded with a third-place finish at the Barber Tournament, highlighted by goals from Feng ’31, Vasquez ’30, Hurst-Ruales, and Gjonaj ’30. It was a season of growth, chemistry, and exciting soccer.
