Staff Directory

Liz is a photographer, educator, Fulbright Scholar, and practicing artist whose work explores the relationship between photography, the ocean, and environmental issues including marine debris, plastic pollution, and climate change. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the New Hampshire Institute of Art and her Master of Fine Arts from the University of Connecticut. Her work has been exhibited and published nationally and internationally, with support from Fulbright Norway, the Connecticut Sea Grant Art Award, and the Connecticut Artist Fellowship, among others. As an educator, Ms. Liz brings extensive experience teaching digital and darkroom photography, historical processes, and interdisciplinary art and science courses to students of all levels. At Williams, she shares her enthusiasm for photography while encouraging students to experiment, develop their creative voices, and explore connections between art and the world around them.
