Williams’ annual food drive for the Gemma Moran United Way Food Center continued to support local food insecure families with a donation of over 300 pounds of pantry staples.

Guided by the Service Committee, Advisor Groups worked together to fulfill holiday wish lists through the Safe Futures Polar Express program. Each advisee group procured and wrapped gifts for families in the local community.

Harkness Plant Sale Volunteers

Williams Student Ambassadors and Faculty Volunteers showed up on a rainy April day to help the Friends of Harkness organization run their annual plant sale. The weather didn’t deter gardeners from visiting the park for their annual and perennial plants and the team of volunteers helped the sale run smoothly to raise more than $12,000 for Harkness.

Car Shows Benefit Athletic Organizations

A tradition started by Pearse Rothman ’23, who has a passion for classic cars and luxury vehicles spurred donation-based car shows at Fall and Spring Sports Days. In the Fall, Pearse organized a car show to benefit the U.S. Paralympics, and in the Spring, Robby Shay ’25 carried on the tradition benefitting Miracle League of Southeastern CT.
