Williams' college acceleration program students walk up the steps

College Acceleration Program

In the inaugural year of the College Acceleration Program students took more than ten different courses at Connecticut College across subjectsranging from language, to government and politics, to classics, philosophy, and computer science. These students will continue to take courses at the college this year and will graduate in the spring with a Connecticut College transcript alongside their Williams diploma.

Interdisciplinary Certificate Program

Students in one of four Interdisciplinary Certificate programs focusing on Engineering, Environmental Sustainability, Global Perspectives, and Humanities and the Arts dove into independent and group work enriching their learning in their area of interest.

Alumni Speaker Series

Alumni returned to campus with a focus on Engineering. Alumni Board President Noah Jenkins ’14 shared his experience as a Senior Engineer at STR. Noah parallels his career by volunteering in the field of education with the goal of STEM outreach to support diversity and inclusion. Peter Harsh ’11 brought from his Boston Dynamics Office, Spot the Robot to share about his experience working in engineering and technology after studying supply chain management. Andrea Goldstein ’12 joined via Zoom from Vermont where she works remotely for PES Structural Engineers out of West Hartford where she is a Project Engineer and BIM specialist.
