Annual Report of Giving
A Year of Continued Growth at Williams

Dear Members of The Williams School Community,
It is my great pleasure to share with you The Williams School’s Annual Report of Giving, representing the generous support we received throughout the past fiscal year, July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. This report is our way of recognizing and thanking all of you for investing in Williams at every level. I am deeply grateful for the extraordinary generosity of our alumni, alumni parents, grandparents, parents, faculty, staff, students, trustees, corporations, foundations, and friends. Together, you helped us exceed our ambitious Annual Fund goal of $515,000—raising nearly $540,000!
We also continue to strengthen our endowment as it ensures the long term financial sustainability of Williams. I am pleased to report that our endowment is over $17 million as of August 1st! With the Board of Trustees approving only a minimal draw each year to support school operations, your support plays a critical role in supporting the heart of Williams—our faculty, our teaching and learning programs, tuition assistance, and the vibrant student life that enriches each day on campus.
Your generosity also could not come at a more exciting time. This year, our focus is on Growth for our people, our programs, and our places. Guided by our Strategic Plan, we are advancing strategies across Enrollment & Engagement, Teaching & Learning, and Finance & Operations. Highlights include:
- Expanding the demographic and diversity of our student body and families by continuously enriching our distinctive educational experience.
- Enhancing academics through a new Teaching & Learning infrastructure, including Directors of Middle and Upper School Teaching & Learning and new Department Chairs.
- Exploring the feasibility and expansion of our spaces at both the Connecticut College and Bloomingdale Road campuses, while increasing tuition and non-tuition revenue.
Speaking of spaces, I am thrilled to announce the opening of a new community/maintenance building at our Bloomingdale athletic complex on October 17th. With a stone pavilion overlooking the turf field, this venue—enhanced by new outdoor furniture and a grill, generously gifted by parents and friends of the Class of 2025—will serve as a hub for community gatherings, athletic celebrations, and alumni reunions.
As many of you know, two of my favorite words are Thank You. I thank each and every donor for your commitment to Williams through giving to the Annual Fund, supporting our endowment, or attending spirited school events. Your generosity inspires us, strengthens us, and allows us to live fully into our mission and core values of Scholarship, Character, and Community.
