Alumni in the Classroom
This fall, we were excited to welcome back Doug Hamilton ‘14, Dmitri Rabin ‘96, and Jon Marston ‘97. Each shared their expertise and career journeys, covering fields ranging from accounting and finance to wildfire management. These alumni provided valuable insights, answered student questions, and highlighted the real-world applications of a Williams education. Their presence in our classrooms strengthens our community and inspires the next generation of scholars and leaders.

Alumni at Work
Students in our STEM Interdisciplinary Certificate Program recently had the incredible opportunity to visit Boston Dynamics, where they met with alum Peter Harsh ’11. Peter offered an inside look at the company’s groundbreaking work in robotics, sharing insights into engineering, artificial intelligence, and innovation. Students participated in hands-on learning, explored cutting-edge technology, and gained valuable career inspiration from a Williams graduate making an impact in the field. This experience highlights the strength of our alumni network and the exciting pathways our STEM program creates for future innovators!

Alumni in Action
We are thrilled to announce that Annie Longo ’16, who has been serving as an Assistant Coach for our Sailing Team, will step up as Varsity Head Coach for the 2025 season! Annie’s passion for sailing and dedication to our student-athletes make her the perfect leader to continue the team’s success. It’s inspiring to see our alumni return as teachers and coaches, shaping the next generation of Williams scholars and athletes. Congratulations, Annie!

What were you involved with while attending Williams?
I was involved with literally everything during my six years at Williams!
It almost sounds the character Max from the movie ‘Rushmore,’ but I played three varsity sports (soccer, basketball and baseball), helped run the Service Committee for two years, was the Editor-in-Chief of a student-run ‘zine called “Iskra,” was one of the Literary Editors for ‘Legenda,’ and even was in the Spring play my Junior year as ’Soldier 1’ in ‘A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.’
Moreover, during my Junior and Senior years, I was able to DJ a radio show from 6-9am every Saturday at WCNI on the Conn campus as well as take advantage of all of the lectures, exhibitions and concerts that were happening at the College in those years. That ability to do everything from representing the School in a State-wide all-star basketball tournament to having my “poetry” and art published in “Hilltop” is what made my time at Williams such an amazing – and expansive – period of my life.
What are you currently doing (career, family, etc.)?
I am the CEO of Syndicate Sub Rosa (an MTM Company), an award-winning strategic design consultancy, where I’m responsible for the firm’s overall strategic direction, creative excellence and global business development.
From 2010 to 2019, I was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bruce Mau Design (a member of the MDC Partners network of companies) with offices in London, New York and Toronto.
A fond memory of your time at Williams:
I loved it all – but certainly I have great memories of playing on the Soccer team (especially my Senior year when Rob Kenyon ’90 scored 50 (!!) goals and we made a run deep into the SENE Tournament); Senior Day was always a blast; I loved my coursework (particularly, Rick Dauer’s ‘History of Russia and China’ and Bill Heinzen’s ‘US History’ – both of which changed my life!), and of course, the friendships during my time at Williams were a huge part of why the School was such a great experience for me.
A fun fact about yourself:
My career in Design has allowed me to work with some really amazing collaborators and take me to some pretty incredible locations across the globe (I did a project in Mongolia!), but in terms of fun facts, not many people know that I was featured as a commentator in a documentary film that came out in 2018 called “Design Canada”.

Jessica Biber ’05
What were you involved with while attending Williams?
During my time at Williams, I was on the softball and basketball teams. I participated on the yearbook committee and competed in the Physics Olympics my junior and senior year. I was also heavily involved with dance and theater, performing in the Williams’ productions of Jesus Christ Superstar and Les Miserables and in several Compchoreas.
What are you currently doing (career, family, etc.)?
I live in Los Angeles with my daughter, Ellie, and husband, Jonathan. I’m the Assistant Executive Director at a major synagogue in the San Fernando Valley. I also own a Public Relations consulting firm with clients that range from entrepreneurs and apparel companies to podcasts and content creators.
A fond memory of your time at Williams:
I have so many amazing memories of my time at Williams, but Senior Day my senior year was truly a highlight. We looked forward to it for months and just had the best time as a class and celebrating the end of our Williams School journey.

What were you involved with while attending Williams?
While attending Williams, I was involved in soccer, basketball, some baseball, and tennis, participated in student council, dabbled in acting, and managed to earn thoroughly mediocre grades.
What are you currently doing (career, family, etc.)?
After twenty-five years of teaching history and English at schools similar to Williams, I’m now working for my neighbor, helping cut, split, stack, and deliver firewood. I have three children—Sally, a junior at Denison; Ford, a freshman at Syracuse’s Newhouse School of Communications; and Libby, a sophomore at McLean School in Potomac, MD, which is quite similar to Williams. I’m happily married to my love, Lisa Brennan, and we plan to move back up to Noank in the next 2–3 years.
A fond memory of your time at Williams:
Although I have many fond memories of Williams, some of my favorites are sitting in Mrs. Chrisman’s class discussing “Huck Finn”, exploring “Wuthering Heights” with Mr. Wheeler, and learning economics from Mr. Merritt.

Meaghan Meachem ’99
What were you involved with while attending Williams?
Softball, Band, Thespians, Dance, FIRST Robotics
What are you currently doing (career, family, etc.)?
I live in Vermont with my husband and two furkids. I’m a professor of journalism and communications at Northern Vermont University.
A fond memory of your time at Williams:
Doing Winterfest in Harkness Chapel and Theater in the Arboretum. What cool places those are to do art.
