Interdisciplinary Certificate Program

Focused Learning. Real-World Connection.

The Interdisciplinary Certificate Program gives students in grades 10–12 the opportunity to pursue focused study in Environmental Sustainability, Global Perspectives, Humanities and the Arts, and STEM. Over three years, students combine coursework, research, and professional exploration while building a digital portfolio that showcases their growth and accomplishments. Through connections with alumni and professionals, students explore potential career paths and apply their learning beyond the classroom. Graduates earn an Interdisciplinary Certificate alongside their Williams diploma, reflecting academic achievement and purposeful exploration of their interests.

Four Areas of Focus

Students in grades 10–12 can pursue an Interdisciplinary Certificate in Environmental Sustainability, Global Perspectives, Humanities and the Arts, or STEM. Each area allows students to explore a subject in greater depth through focused coursework, research, professional exploration, and experiences beyond the classroom. Along the way, students build a digital portfolio, connect with Williams alumni and professionals, and explore how their academic interests can lead to future study and career opportunities.
