The College Counseling Office offers students and families both expertise directly from the world of college admissions as well as individual attention and support as they navigate the college search and application process and the transition to university.

The Williams School Breaks Ground on New Tennis and Pickleball Center, Set to Open Spring 2026

The Williams School is excited to announce that it has broken ground on its brand new Tennis and Pickleball Center located at our Bloomingdale Road Athletic Complex in Quaker Hill. This state-of-the-art facility will support our expanding competitive and developmental tennis programs while providing high-quality courts for the entire community. Construction is now underway on the multi-court complex, which is slated to open this Spring 2026.

2025 Fall Sports Recap: A Season of Excellence and Teamwork

The 2025 Fall Sports season has drawn to a close, leaving behind a trail of remarkable achievements and unforgettable moments. The Varsity Cross Country teams led the way with both the boys and girls earning first-place individual finishes at the CISAC Invitational, and the boys securing a historic HVAL Runner-Up title as both squads delivered strong performances throughout the season. On the pitch, our Girls Varsity Soccer team showcased resilience and determination, advancing to the HVAL League semifinals and battling through a scoreless regular time and double overtime before ultimately falling in the second round of overtime penalty kicks. The Boys Varsity Soccer team celebrated its best season in seven years, lighting up the scoreboard with 43 goals and demonstrating exceptional growth and teamwork. Across the JV and Middle School levels, our athletes continued to show dedication, improvement, and school spirit in every game, making this fall season one to remember.

Navigating New Frontiers: Chelsea Rallis on the Future of AI at Williams

“To be honest, I think what grabbed my attention was the fact that I was nervous about it and scared of it—kind of like how mathematicians must have felt when the calculator first came out,” said Chelsea Rallis, Director of Upper School Teaching and Learning. “My curiosity really came from trying to figure out how to combat it, which I think was the initial reaction for a lot of teachers.”

At Williams, innovation in education means conquering  change with curiosity rather than fear. As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly present in classrooms and everyday life, Rallis is leading efforts to help both faculty and students explore how AI can enhance—rather than replace—the learning process.
